RISE stands for:

R - Respect

S - Support

E - Education

 

RISE is our student leadership program. Students aged 13+ are invited to apply to participate. Students receive training to become classroom assistants (the first steps towards becoming classroom teachers).

 

During the program they are buddied with select classes. Each week RISE students attend these classes and assist younger students under the guidance of the classroom teacher. This requires them to develop skills in communication, guidance, positive role modeling, technical development and social skills.

RISE students are identified with a special uniform.

 

This sought after position sees students taking their first steps towards leading others in a positive way. All applications are to be made to the Director.
